Chef Daniel Boulud’s db bistro moderne is a contemporary French restaurant, known for chic bistro cuisine. The menu features updated bistro classics with a modern twist and market-driven French-American cuisine, alongside traditional French specialties and seasonal dishes showcasing the Greenmarket’s finest produce. db bistro moderne is Boulud’s take on casual dining, but since chef Boulud goes first class no matter what, this bistro dazzles with its sleek, contemporary decor.

MENU:

Appetizers (choice of):
  • Soup du Jour (soup of the day) – Seasonal accompaniments
  • Roasted Brussels Sprouts Salad – Radicchio, croutons, pickled red onions, caesar dressing
  • Hamachi Ceviche – Blood orange, buddha’s hand, jalapeno, radish
  • Escargot Persillade – Half-dozen burgundy snails, garlic, almond-herb butter (the restaurant has a limit of 14 servings for escargot; if you want this dish, please let me know, and if 14 other people have already requested it, I will let you know)
  • Apple & Blue Cheese Salad – Mixed baby lettuce, candied walnuts, lardons, apple & bacon vinaigrette
  • Grilled Octopus Salad – Arugula, fingerling potatoes, pine nuts, tomato & caper vinaigrette
Entrees (choice of):
  • Rigatoni All’Amatriciana – Iberico paletta, guanciale, tomato ragù
  • Branzino en Papillote – Black trumpet mushrooms, sunchokes, sherry jus
  • Coq au Vin – Bacon, mushrooms, spätzle
  • The Original db Burger – Sirloin burger filled with braised short ribs: foie gras and black truffle, parmesan bun, pommes frites
  • Steak Frites – Petite tender, sauce au poivre, pommes frites
Desserts (choice of):
  • Molten Chocolate Fondant – Vanilla ice cream, guanaja chocolate sorbet
  • Millefeuille Tropicale – Passion fruit ganache, lime diplomat, mandarin supremes
  • Selection Of House Made Ice Creams & Sorbets
  • Almond Gateau – almond cake

Refund Policy: Sometimes plans unexpectedly change, which we understand. However, restaurants do impose deposit and guarantee requirements when we plan our events, so we have the following generous refund policy (certain events may have different refund policies):

If you cancel:

  • 7 days (or more) before a dinner, you may cancel for a full refund or credit, less a $5 cancellation fee
  • 4-6 days before a dinner, you will receive a credit toward a future event, less a $10 change fee
  • 0-3 days before a dinner (or if you do not show up), no refund or credit

If a dinner or an event is canceled by The Single Gourmet, you will receive a full refund or credit toward a future purchase with no cancellation or change fee.

Ticketed events (tours, shows, and ANY non-dinner event) are non-refundable within 7 days of the event.

Annual membership fees are non-refundable.
