The Empire Steak House is built on the nearly 40 year journey of the Sinanaj brothers (Russ, Jack, and Jeff) who learned the trade at Peter Luger Steak House, and they bring a special warmth and hospitality to their restaurants. The Single Gourmet has been here for dinner a couple of times over the past couple of years, and this year we’ll enjoy their special Christmas dinner menu with plenty of options. Featuring the finest cuts of steaks, the freshest seafood, and a premium selection of wine, in beautiful surroundings with exceptional service, the Empire Steak House is rated 4.6 on OpenTable, and 4.5 on TripAdvisor.

Starters (choice of):

• Seared Sesame Tuna  served with special Empire sauce
• Fried Calamari  golden brown fried calamari served with marinara sauce
• Grilled Octopus  served with sauteed spinach, cherry peppers, garlic, capers & spicy olive oil
• Imported Italian Burrata sliced tomato, roasted peppers, EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) & aged balsamic
• Empire Salad tomatoes, red onions, bell peppers, blue cheese dressing, Canadian bacon & shrimp
• Mixed Green Salad (vegetarian)  cherry tomatoes, cucumber, Parmesan cheese, dry blueberries, served with homemade vinaigrette dressing
• Caesar Salad  baby romaine lettuce, with homemade garlic croutons topped with shaved Parmesan cheese in a homemade Caesar dressing

Entree (choice of): 

• Prime Ribeye Steak
• Filet Mignon  au poivre sauce
• New York Strip Steak
• Rack of Lamb 
• Grilled Branzino  whole Mediterranean bass served with garlic, parsley, capers & olive oil
• Organic Scottish Salmon  broiled filet of salmon served over creamy broccoli puree
• Chicken Parmigiana  served with pasta
• Lobster Ravioli served in a pink brandy sauce

Refund Policy: Sometimes plans unexpectedly change, which we understand. However, restaurants do impose deposit and guarantee requirements when we plan our events, so we have the following generous refund policy (certain events may have different refund policies):

If you cancel:

• 7 days (or more) before a dinner, you may cancel for a full refund or credit, less a $5 cancellation fee
• 4-6 days before a dinner, you will receive a credit toward a future event, less a $10 change fee
• 0-3 days before a dinner (or if you do not show up), no refund or credit

If a dinner or an event is canceled by The Single Gourmet, you will receive a full refund or credit toward a future purchase with no cancellation or change fee.

Ticketed events (tours, shows, and ANY non-dinner event) are non-refundable within 7 days of the event.

Annual membership fees are non-refundable.
