The Single Gourmet has been to David Burke Tavern for dinner on previous occasions, and when I saw their Christmas dinner menu with 7 (seven!) choices in both the appetizer and entree sections, with a cheesecake lollipop tree included for dessert, I jumped on it. David Burke Tavern is situated on the first two stories of a stately townhouse on New York City’s Upper East Side, and showcases Burke’s creative and contemporary approach to classic fare – often with show-stopping presentations.

MENU (vegetarian friendly)

includes 1 glass of white or red wine, and coffee/tea with dessert. Additional glasses of wine available at restaurant’s normal price (to be billed later).

Appetizers (choice of):

• Winter Harvest Salad (vegan) baby kale, apples, candied pecans, acorn squash, cider vinaigrette
• Little Gem Caesar Salad (vegetarian) baby gem, croutons, parmesan crisp, house caesar dressing

• on or before December 17, full refund, less a $10 cancellation fee.
• on or after December 18 (or if you do not show up): no refund or credit.
